The most successful teachers are those consistent in their practice, who spend time examining the finer details of this work. Our Mentorship program is divided into three sections that compliment Pilates education in Matwork, Reformer and Apparatus. Each section includes workshops and classes for practice and refinement of movement concepts learned during teacher training. The curriculum is designed to deepen your knowledge of movement science, sharpen teaching skills, and gain an advanced perspective for working with all types of clients. The Mentorship Program can be taken, during or after your teacher training program. For teachers in training, you will work towards completing your practical hours, fill in the gaps and answer questions that arise between teacher training sessions.
Amy Beversdorf and Pamela Luedtke have a long history of teaching movement to all levels and in a variety of environments; from post-rehab clientele to athletes and professional dancers; in physical therapy clinics and university programs. As Balanced Body Educators, they have taken advanced education in anatomy, neuromuscular repatterning and pedagogy, and hold post-graduate certificates in Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals and Brain Gym (Educational Kinesiology). Mentorship is a quality experience that will have a lifelong impact on your movement practice and career.

Trapeze Table Programming
For this mentorship class we will look at creating sessions that seamlessly incorporate the trapeze table. The first hour of our workshop will focus on post rehab scenarios and the second hour will focus on added challenge and variety to highly physical sessions.
Spirals, Rotational Stability & Oblique Slings
We will 'play', learn and practice material that trains 3-D rotational movements. This workshop will reinforce your understanding of the biomechanics of rotation and help you prepare your clients for the activity of summer and leading an active lifestyle.
Chair and Barrels Programming
We will look at Chair repertoire as part of a mixed apparatus session as well as strategies for creating a Chair group class. We will also discover ways of incorporating the barrels in both private and group settings.
