A career communicator and community advocate, Shannon understands the value of relationships and meaningful connections. Like the connection between breath, body and mind that is possible through practicing yoga.
Shannon’s initial interest in yoga as a physical compliment to her active lifestyle, deepened into a regular practice several years ago, when she discovered benefits that were enriching her life beyond the physical.
With a desire to learn more and a personal passion to introduce yoga’s benefits to new students, especially populations in need, in July 2018 Shannon completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Wild Abundant Life, LLC. She is registered with Yoga Alliance.
Shannon believes yoga is for all bodies and guides her students through accessible practices that typically include breathing techniques, powerful flows and mindful moments, that when combined, can contribute to a healthy, joyful and more connected life – on and off the yoga mat.
