The most successful teachers are consistent in their practice, who spend time examining the finer details of this work. Our Mentorship program is divided into three sections that compliment Pilates education in Matwork, Reformer and Apparatus. Each section includes workshops and classes for practice and refinement of movement concepts learned during teacher training. The curriculum is designed to deepen your knowledge of movement science, sharpen teaching skills, and gain an advanced perspective for working with all types of clients. The Mentorship Program can be taken, during or after your teacher training program. For teachers in training, you will work towards completing your practical hours, fill in the gaps and answer questions that arise between teacher training sessions.
Amy Beversdorf and Pamela Luedtke have a long history of teaching movement to all levels and in a variety of environments; from post-rehab clientele to athletes and professional dancers; in physical therapy clinics and university programs. As Balanced Body Educators, they have taken advanced education in anatomy, neuromuscular repatterning and pedagogy, and hold post-graduate certificates in Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals and Brain Gym (Educational Kinesiology). Mentorship is a quality experience that will have a lifelong impact on your movement practice and career.
